Spring 2009 Dear Fellow Car Enthusiast, This is a reminder that the liquid insurance policy in your cars cooling system is due for a renewal. Without it, you could encounter an inconvenient breakdown due to overheating or a leak this summer. In this letter, I will highlight some exciting new developments that are taking place with our products and services. In spite of the challenging economic times, we are continuing business as usual. Shipping rates have increased. Dramatic changes are taking place in the shipping industry, as evidenced by DHLs recent discontinuation of US deliveries. To keep our shipping costs as low as possible, we now ship through a fulfillment firm in Toledo, Ohio. Their large volume qualifies them for better shipping discounts than we were getting by continuing to ship ourselves. Their service is outstanding, and includes some pretty slick enhancements such as email notification of your shipments tracking number. HyperKuhl SuperCoolant won a Global Media Award at the 2008 SEMA Show! As previously announced, we recently upgraded the formula of HyperKuhl, and re-launched it at the 2008 SEMA Show. It was selected as one of the best new products! A brief word on how HyperKuhl has changed. The formula utilizes chemicals called surfactants to reduce the surface tension of coolant in critical liquid-to-metal interfaces in the cooling system. This allows heat to be transferred more efficiently, which results in cooler cylinder heads and a net decrease in stabilized coolant temperature. Every surfactant has a physical property that is known as a cloud point. This is defined as the temperature above which the surfactant drops out of solution, and therefore ceases to provide surface tension reduction. Our new HyperKuhl formula incorporates multiple surfactants, each providing surface tension reduction within a specific temperature range. The result is enhanced temperature reduction, especially for high compression and racing engines having extremely hot cylinder heads. HyperKuhl is the only supercoolant that utilizes a tiered approach to surfactant technology, thus making it the most sophisticated as well. Back to the business end of things. Last fall our online shopping cart did not function for an entire week. Since then, we have rebuilt it from scratch. But if you tried unsuccessfully to place an order with us last fall, we certainly apologize. Rest assured, the issue has been fully resolved, and things are now working as they should. A final note. This is our first year of team sponsorship in Motorsports! We are excited to announce that we will be sponsoring JASON PATISON RACING, which competes in the NASCAR Camping World West Series. www.JasonPatison.com Please join us in cheering Jason to victory during the 2009 racing season! I hope you will visit his web sites to learn when he will be racing at a track near you. Remember, the protection that our products provide is slowly depleted over time. For this reason, it is important that you add No-Rosion or HyperKuhl every year. This protects against corrosion and overheating for 5 years. And when you do drain and flush after the 5th year, try our new flush products. They clean and remove contaminants, and optimize the performance of No-Rosion and HyperKuhl. The enclosed form can be used to submit your next order. To order online, visit: www.No-Rosion.com. If you have any questions, give me a call at: (847) 477-9262. Thank you for your continued support. We remain fully committed to manufacturing only the absolute finest quality engine coolant products available. Sincerely, Applied Chemical Specialties, Inc. |
