Believe it or not, glycol antifreeze is NOT the most effective coolant for heat transfer! Straight water conducts 140% more heat than glycol, and 60% more heat than a 50/50 mix. Therefore, running a standard 50/50 mix could be causing overheating and detonation in your car’s engine. But using straight water also presents serious problems, because water coolant does not provide any corrosion protection. HyperKuhl High Performance SuperCoolant increases coolant’s ability to wet metal surfaces inside a cooling system by reducing its surface tension. This allows coolant to conduct heat more effectively at critical liquid-to-metal interfaces inside the cylinder heads and radiator, resulting in a net increase in heat transfer, and decrease in operating temperature. The reduction in cylinder head temperature allows ignition timing to be safely advanced without the threat of detonation, increasing horsepower. As indicated by the graph to the right, HyperKühl reduces temperatures by twenty degrees or more when used with straight water as coolant. Perhaps most importantly, HyperKuhl provides 100% protection from corrosion and electrolysis, even in straight water coolant. It contains the most advanced inhibitor package of any coolant additive on the market today, and provides complete protection for all metals in a cooling system, particularly aluminum. Dyno tests indicate HyperKuhl's ability to reduce operating temperatures by approximately 5 to 7 degrees F. when used with a 50/50 mix of antifreeze/water, and up to 20 (or more) degrees F. when used with straight water coolant. What distinguishes HyperKuhl from other similar products? HyperKuhl is the only Supercoolant product available that has undergone an extensive, three year research and development test in the cooling systems of 25 Ferraris and Lamborghinis, all driven on the German Autobahn, where cars run flat-out for hours at a time. It is also the only SuperCoolant that includes an accompanying coolant flush product, HyperKuhl SuperFlush, that can be used to effectively clean and prime the cooling system before adding the SuperCoolant, thereby maximizing temperature reduction performance. It is ASTM documented to provide 100% corrosion protection straight water coolant. And it It is the only Supercoolant that contains polymer dispersants that prevent the buildup of efficiency-robbing scales and deposits. This allows marginal or low-quality tap water, as is often found at race tracks, to be used without the concern of fouling a cooling system. Not sure whether to use No-Rosion or HyperKuhl in your vehicle? The answer is simple. If you have a high-performance or racing vehicle, or if you are experiencing overheating or operating near the maximum temperature range, then HyperKuhl is your product of choice. (Note: If you use HyperKuhl, it is NOT necessary to use No-Rosion in addition to HyperKuhl. This is because HyperKuhl is a two-in-one corrosion inhibitor and wetting agent, and contains all the same corrosion protection as No-Rosion.) DIRECTIONS: One pint treats 12-20 quarts. Systems outside this range, add/subtract 1 ounce per quart. Straight water requires 50% higher dose. Using less than 50% antifreeze provides maximum temperature reduction. If straight water is used, tap or soft water is recommended. Do not use distilled water unless mixed with 50% antifreeze. Add once per year or 30,000 miles, whichever comes first. After 5th year, drain, clean/prime cooling system with HyperKuhl SuperFlush, and refill. |
